On Saturday, October 18th, the St. Dominic Small Christian Community (SCC) visited the Kamuzu Central Hospital Cancer Ward to cheer and assist the patients.

This initiative is part of the SCC’s ongoing charity work, made possible after a successful fundraising drive. The community raised K1.5 million through the combined efforts of the Catholic Men Association, Catholic Women Association, and the Youth Ministry within their SCC!

In total, they assisted 60 patients across both the male and female wards. Each patient received a package consisting of maize flour (ufa), sugar, eggs, soya pieces, salt, cooking oil, milk, washing soap, plus K6,000 cash assistance.
St Dominic SCC has a total of 30 families.
