On 25th March 25, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, marking the visit of the Angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary to announce that she would conceive Jesus by the Holy Spirit. This feast, celebrated nine months before Christmas, commemorates the Incarnation of God as man and Mary’s submission to God’s Will.
In a way special way, Legionaries from St Kizito Parish, Area 47, Chigoneka, marked the celebration of this Feast with The Legio Aces, a day when all Legionaries from within the Diocese gathered at St Anthony’s Parish, Area 25, to renew their Legion Promise to Our Lady. The Legionaries were accompanied by Br Noel Eze.
It was indeed a remarkable day filled with love, care and devotion to each other and The Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Mother.
