Children at St. Kizito Parish, Chigoneka, on Saturday 1st August received the sacraments of Baptism and First Holy Communion during a special Mass led by Parish Priest Fr. Martin Mulholland.

In his homily, Fr. Mulholland reminded the children that by receiving Holy Communion, they had welcomed Jesus Christ into their hearts, encouraging them to remain close to God through prayer, regular participation in Mass, and living according to Christian values.
He also urged parents and guardians to continue nurturing the children’s faith, saying the sacraments mark the beginning of a lifelong journey with Christ and the Church.

May the grace of the Holy Spirit guide them and the Holy Eucharist nourish them always. Let us keep them in our prayers as they continue their journey of faith.
