The Catholic Archdiocese of Lilongwe organised an Archdiocesan Children’s Congress programme which was held on the 21st – 23rd of August at St Anne’s Catholic Church, Gullime, Mchinji.
THEME: “CHILDREN BE WITH CHRIST, UNITED IN MISSION”
The purpose of this programme was to deepen the faith of our children in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and the importance of Eucharistic Adoration for our spiritual growth. It also aimed at enlightening our children in upholding good social virtues, understanding their fundamental rights with educative talks on Child Safeguarding. There was also time for recreation activities.
It is pleasing to know that our parish, St Kizito, was well represented by our children and teachers who participated in this blissful experience by the Archdiocese of Lilongwe.
