Altar Servers and Liturgical Dancers plant trees

Last Sunday, a representative of the Altar Servers and Liturgical Dancers addressed parishioners on activities that they have been engaged in over the long school holidays. Some of the activities included assembling at the parish for Bible Study and to learn the Breviary prayers. They also engaged in sporting activities.

They also announced that they will be planting trees around the parish compound in solidarity with Pope Leo XIV’s Season of Creation call. Below are pictures from the activity this afternoon.

The Season of Creation is an annual five-week global Christian observance running from September 1 (World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation) to October 4 (Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi), dedicated to prayer, reflection, and environmental action for the earth.

Pope Leo’s Focus highlights the link between armed conflict and environmental degradation, urging humanity to redirect resources away from destruction and toward life, peace, and the vulnerable.
