CMA visits Chipata, urged to prioritise God

Members of the Catholic Men Association from St Kizito Chigoneka Parish visited Chipata Diocese, Zambia at the invitation of their counterparts from Catholic Men’s League of St Anne’s Parish. The group was led by the parish priest, Fr Martin Mulholland. During the visit, members from both parishes held discussions and shared ideas on how to deepen their Christianity.

The chairperson of St Kizito Parish, Alfred Msakambewa challenged men to make time for God in their lives. He said this at a Eucharistic Celebration at St Anne’s Cathedral Parish today. Mr. Msakambewa expressed concern that some men claim to be too busy to join church lay movements or engage in spiritual activities.

He emphasized the importance of prioritizing one’s relationship with God, urging men to re-evaluate their schedules and make room for spiritual growth and service.
Mr. Msakambewa’s call to action encourages men to strike a balance between their personal and professional lives, ensuring that their faith remains a central part of their daily lives.
