Rev Fr Emmanuel Zikabuma, SPS celebrated his first Thanksgiving mass at St Kizito Parish in Chigoneka, Area 47, Lilongwe today. He was ordained a St Patrick’s Missionary Society (SPSS) priest on 29th July 2023. The mass was attended by Fr John Roche, SPS, Fr Zikabuma’s formator in Kenya. Fr Roche also served at St Kizito parish between 1980 and 1988 and as Apostolic Administrator of Mzuzu Diocese from 1987 to 1992.
Other co-celebrants at the mass were St Kizito parish priest Fr Martin Kavisu, SPS and Fr Silvio Zanardi, MCCJ of Comboni Missionaries.
