Maula and Kanengo Deaneries Celebrate ‘Grace in Giving’ at St. Kizito

Maula and Kanengo Deaneries celebrate Grace in Giving

Over 300 women from the Maula and Kanengo Deaneries last Saturday filled the Fr. Frank Taylor Hall at St Kizito Parish with song, dance, and a spectacular display of colour for the Grace in Giving fundraising and farewell get-together. This fundraising initiative was launched before the Kanengo Deanery was formally established out of Maula.

The hall was glowing as CWA members donned vibrant chirundu outfits in colours of the rainbow. Beyond the music and festivities, Justice Madalitso Chimwaza gave an insightful talk on Wills and Estate Administration, giving the women practical and essential guidance on managing family inheritance and protecting the future of our loved ones.

As the day came to a close, the deanery Chaplains and the CWA Archdiocesan Chairlady reminded the women that while administrative boundaries may change, their mission remains the same. They urged the women to continue serving the Lord with the same unity and passion that has always defined the Catholic Womens Association.
