Polytechnic Catholic Alumni visit St Kizito

This morning, the Polytechnic Catholic Alumni Society (POCAS) Central Region Chapter joined the St. Kizito Parish community for the 8:30 am Mass. Chapter Chairperson Patrick Manja led the group and explained that their visit had three purposes.

Firstly, it provided an opportunity for POCAS members, many of whom are parishioners elsewhere, to learn from the St. Kizito community. Secondly, the visit aimed to raise awareness about POCAS to other former students of The Polytechnic, now the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS). This will lead to fostering unity among people who journeyed together in college.

Finally, it aligned with POCAS’s mission to serve the wider Church by mentoring young individuals currently in tertiary education or preparing for university. The group emphasised the importance of maintaining a strong faith life amidst the challenges of academic and professional pursuits.

Following the Mass, POCAS members engaged in fellowship with parishioners and the parish priest.
