The Catholic Archdiocese of Lilongwe is today launching the Tiyende Limodzi Endowment Fund of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lilongwe at a Eucharistic Celebration at Our Lady of Africa Maula Parish. The main celebrant is Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese, His Lordship Vincent Mwakhwawa.

During Mass, His Lordship commissioned eight trustees of the fund and blessed orange trees. The trees symbolise the fund that will grow and bear much fruit.

St Kizito Parishioners have contributed K6,000,500.00 to the fund. A total of K42m has been given and pledged by parishes towards the Fund.

Following the Eucharistic Celebration, guests will proceed to a luncheon at the Bishops’ Car Park before the Annual Legacy Gala Dinner at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) this evening.
