CHARITY VISIT BY ST VINCENT DE PAUL TO THE CANCER CENTRE AT KAMUZU CENTRAL HOSPITAL
On Sunday 1st June 2025, St Vincent de Paul, a charitable group under St Kizito Parish, Lilongwe Archdiocese in Malawi, conducted a charity visit to the cancer centre under the Kamuzu Central Hospital.
The cancer centre is a specialised unit under Kamuzu Central Hospital focusing on cancer patients, the majority of whom come from the rural areas of Lilongwe and beyond.
During the visit, St Vincent de Paul covered the female, male and children’s wards and provided maize flour, sugar, soap and cooking oil costing MK1,063,000.
Part of he funds were raised by the group, as well as financial support from the Parish’s well-wishers.
St Vincent de Paul has an annual work plan to be implemented during the year 2025, covering a number of charitable activities, subject to the availability of funds.
