St. Kizito Parish, Legion of Mary, Mother of Perpetual Help Praesidium on 15th December, 2024 held a legionary promise taking ceremony. Brothers Ernest Makawa, Cydex Makunje, Patrick Kamwenje and Sisters Gloria Sharra, Sophie Kalinde, Linda Dzanjalimodzi and Rose Kamoto took their promises officiated by Fr Martin Mulholland, Spiritual Director of the Presidium and Parish Priest.
The Legionary Promise was addressed to the Holy Spirit for devotion that their work, which is the sanctification of themselves and of the other members of the Mystical Body of Christ, is dependent on the power and operation of the Holy Spirit, to deliberate attention to Him, and devotion to the Blessed Virgin with whom He works in inseparable union (see Chapter 25 of the Legion of Mary Handbook).
