St Patrick’s Missionary Society and parishioners of St Kizito, Maria Mthandizi wa Akhristu and St Augustine Mtengowanthenga parishes today celebrated the lives of late Fr Martin Kavisu and late Francis Dzanjalimodzi. The first anniversary memorial mass at St Kizito Parish was attended by the Bishop of Mzuzu Diocese Rt Rev John Ryan and priests from the congregation resident in Malawi and Kenya.
After the mass, the Dzanjalimodzi family and friends prayed at the final resting place of Francis in Area 18 cemetery and laid wreaths.
Fr Martin and Francis passed away in a car accident in Lilongwe on 14th December 2023. Fr Martin was laid to rest in Nakuru, Kenya.
