St Vincent de Paul Society visits St Kizito Clinic

On 26 June 2026, four members of the St Vincent de Paul Society from St Kizito Chigoneka Parish visited St Kizito Clinic at Mtsiliza. The delegation comprised Mrs Nkunika, Mrs Chigona, Mrs Kamanga and Mrs Chilongozi.

St Kizito Clinic provides medical, psychosocial, physical and spiritual support to people living with chronic illnesses from eight villages within Maria Mthandizi wa Akhristu Parish. The clinic currently serves between 30 and 36 patients with conditions including hypertension, cancer, stroke, epilepsy and those receiving antiretroviral therapy.

During the visit, 21 patients and guardians were present, and each received a gift pack containing maize flour, sugar, salt, soap, soya pieces and usipa. The remaining nine packs were left with the clinic staff for patients who were unable to attend.

The patients and clinic staff expressed their appreciation to the Parish Priest of St Kizito Chigoneka Parish, the parishioners, and the members of the St Vincent de Paul Society for their continued generosity and support.

The visit concluded with a prayer led by Mrs Chigona, who thanked God for the opportunity to serve and support those in need.
