Children from St. Kizito Parish, Chigoneka, paid a festive visit to the Archbishop of Lilongwe, His Grace George Desmond Tambala, at his residence, Maula on 23 December 2025. The occasion was marked by joyful Christmas carols, gift exchanges, and spiritual enrichment activities.
The children filled the air with melodies of Christmas carols, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere for the Archbishop and all present.

In a gesture of generosity, the children presented Archbishop Tambala with Christmas gifts. In return, His Grace gifted each child a Holy Rosary, encouraging them to remain steadfast in prayer as they celebrate the birth of Christ.
The children were taught on the beauty of religious life and the significance of the evangelical counsels, inspiring the children toward faith and service.

There was a lively quiz session on the birth of Jesus. The children engaged enthusiastically, answering questions about Mary and Joseph, the humble birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, and the theological meaning of Christmas Day.
Mrs. Lilian Ghambi, a coordinator, expressed gratitude to Archbishop Tambala for his warm welcome and openness to the children’s presentations. She also conveyed a gift from Dr. Janet Banda, matron of the children, to the Archbishop. Additionally, she extended thanks to the Parish Priest of St. Kizito, Fr. Martin Mulholland, for his support.

The event concluded with joyful interaction between the children and the clergy. The children danced to festive tunes and later posed for a group photo with Archbishop Tambala at Maula Cathedral.
