Commissioning of 14 Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers at St Kizito Parish

Our Parish Priest, Fr. Martin Mulholland, SPS, today commissioned 14 Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion during the 4th Sunday of Advent Mass. The new ministers include members of the lay faithful as well as sisters resident in the parish from the Medical Missionaries of Mary, the Sisters of St. John the Baptist, and the Sisters of the Holy Family of Bordeaux.

Having completed their formal training, each minister was presented with a certificate during the ceremony. At St. Kizito Parish, these ministers play a vital role in assisting with the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass. Furthermore, they perform the essential service of taking the Eucharist to sick parishioners who are unable to attend Mass in person. This ministry has been a cornerstone of our parish community since it was established over 10 years ago.
